what the heck am i doing here?: Summer - Tokyo Day 3 - Harujuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Meiji Shrine

oh..it's now day 3... everyday after mt.fuji is freaking hot weather, as temperature is about 34'C and i'm using sunlotion SPF130 the sunplay brand yet i got burns here and there...

this is harajuku where the girls would cosplay here.. but unfortunately... i didnt seen anyone...even though i stayed till around 12pm... i guess summer heat got to them...

i'm at meiji shrine which is very near to harajuku station...

this is the largest wood tori in japan...

these are the famous rice wine in japan...

this is where you pay 500yen for the wood token and you write your wish on it and hang it up...

still around meiji shrine...

this is the entrance to meiji gardens which have 500yen admission fee... not very good to visit during summer as their azalea garden and flowers garden did not bloom therefore this place would be a worthy visit during spring and autumn...

you can only see greenery here...

now after meiji shrine, i headed to Takeshita Dori street where it's famous for crepes...

oh yeah there's a big shop of daiso here as well... =D good place to stock up on cheap souvenirs...

this was the marion's crepes no.1 bestseller crepes...

this is marion's crepes rival which is opposite of it... theirs were more crispier than marions... i tried their no.5 bestseller which was a cheese crepes

now walking off the crepes i eaten around Omotesando street where you can see Oriental Bazaar which is another famous shop to shop for souvenirs...

this was infront of channel shop at Omotesando street...

of course you cant miss the Kiddyland which where you can get most of japan's famous anime/cartoon souvenirs from... its also another money sucking shop for gifts...

this is japan's famous fast food chain something like mcd, kfc...

finally moved on to Shibuya... the famous meeting spot.. the hachiko statue...

lots of shopping here... you can also see the famous people crossing here... where you can drink your coffee at starsbucks.. although theres an admission fee..

lunch time.. guess this is? whale's fin... i'm eating lunch at a whale specialty restaurant...

this is the restaurant.. it's juz behind the shibuya 109 mall...pretty easy to find... prices are reasonable..

after shibuya... i'm now going to ikebukuro... now heading to sushine city mall...

there's alot of stuffs to do... although it's now summer clearance sale so you can expect the crowd here...

this is namjatown where it's actually inside the sunshine city... although i was lucky as entrance fee was waived due to their anniversary but normally they charge per pax around 3500-3900yen...

there were some pretty cool FMA food inside the namjatown...

you can find alot of their cute mascot around... although you gotta pay to play the games inside.. mainly are horror games...

this is the cheapest ice cream i eaten so far... 520yen for 4 scoop of ice cream as i normally eat 300yen for a scoop... these are hokkaido milk ice-cream, peach, strawberry and sesame flavours...

pretty cute statue around the food section as well..

this is ikebukuro animate... where you can find some yaoi goodies here it seems... if akihabara is boys town... ikebukuro is a girls town... and it seems that otomen town as well according to my tokyo friend...
